Sober Thought of the Day
“Drink moderately, for drunkenness neither keeps a secret nor observes
a promise.”
Miguel de Cervantes

Today’s Saint
Such a soul has been stripped of her old self and clothed in a new self, in Christ, gentle Jesus. Then she is able to hold that grace by which she experiences God in this life. — Saint Catherine of Siena

Psalm of the Day
Responsorial Psalm PS 15:2-3a, 3bc-4ab, 5

R. (1b) He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.

He who walks blamelessly and does justice;
who thinks the truth in his heart
and slanders not with his tongue.
R. He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.

Who harms not his fellow man,
nor takes up a reproach against his neighbor;
By whom the reprobate is despised,
while he honors those who fear the LORD.
R. He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.

Who lends not his money at usury
and accepts no bribe against the innocent.
He who does these things
shall never be disturbed.
R. He who does justice will live in the presence of the Lord.
