Sober Thought of the Day
To slip back into a former condition after a change for the better;  specif., to become ill again after convalescing, to revert to evil habits after amendment, etc. dictionary definition of  “relapse”

With alcohol the word relapse means I started drinking again after a period of sobriety. But relapse can be discussed when abandoning almost any good habit or behavior I’ve established over time. Number 9

Psalm of the Day
Responsorial Psalm PS 117:1BC, 2

R. (Mark 16:15) Go out to all the world and tell the Good News.

Praise the LORD, all you nations;
glorify him, all you peoples!
R. Go out to all the world, and tell the Good News.

For steadfast is his kindness toward us,
and the fidelity of the LORD endures forever.
R. Go out to all the world, and tell the Good News.

Today’s Saint
“You must remember to love people and use things, rather than to love things and use people.”
― Venerable Fulton J. Sheen
